"Little Luna" - A Gorjuss Anthology
I had the opportunity, over the past several months, to help create Luna's story by co-founding Hamland Entertainment, sculpting and fully created the 3d character and environments, animating and editing, motion directing and scoring the music for this first installment of A Gorjuss Anthology, with many more to come. Musical performances by Matt Parmenter and myself, sound mixing by Chris Bell, story written by Fab Santoro and Art Directed by Tara Strickland. I'm very proud of this work and I hope you enjoy it! Press release below the video...
Hamland Entertainment is proud to announce their debut animation project – the first episode in a 6-part series, in association with Santoro London.
Originally created by artist Suzanne Woolcott as a private series of introspective portraits, the art of Gorjuss has since been nurtured by Santoro London over the past 13 years, growing into a retail phenomenon with millions of fans worldwide.
As society races faster and louder towards modernity, Gorjuss is a nostalgic reminder of the human psyche; a gentle nod to our childhood courage, hidden insecurities and innermost thoughts.
Now entering a brand new chapter in the brand’s history, Hamland have worked their creative magic to delicately create a charming universe where words are not needed in order to be heard.
‘Little Luna’ is the very first girl to be brought to life, manifesting an inspiring narrative for all. Her story is the initial instalment of A Gorjuss Anthology; a captivating collection of 6 animated short bedtime stories for children and adults alike, set for release every other month over the course of 2023.
Poignantly written, her adventure encourages girls everywhere to dream their biggest dreams.
